2010 Futurity
Historically, "Stock Contractors" were the ones known for raising bucking bulls and providing them to rodeos. With the immense increase in Bull Riding's popularity over the past decade,
the value of exceptional or "RANK" bucking bulls has swelled to over $150,000; and they are now as popular as the riders.

There are literally thousands of "breeders" now raising bucking bulls across the country with the dream of raising the next "Super Star" bovine athlete. To show off what their bull's talents, similar to proud parents bragging
about their child hitting a home run in Little League, bucking bull FUTURITIES were born; a competition of bull vs. bull.

Each breeder pays an entry fee for their bull. The bull is loaded in the chute, a remote control "bucking dummy" (the blue box) is placed on their backs, and the bull is bucked for 6 seconds, then the box is released and it
falls off. The bull is judged on how high it jumps, how fast it spins, and how intense it performs. The bull with the highest score out of 100 points wins. The breeder of the bull wins the cash, the gold buckle, bragging rights,
and most importantly, the pride of knowing you've raised a champion.
